Adam & Heidi

The day that Heidi and Adam were married….

It started out with dark, grey clouds, flooded roads and heavy rain. I summoned the maid of honor onto umbrella duty.

I think we were all feeling very nervous, and perhaps a little disappointed that we might not be able to lap up all of the wonderful scenery that the vast beautiful northern beaches of Sydney have to offer…

But then slowly, and surely, out came…….  The Sun!

Smiles returning to all faces, and (little darlin’), it was all right…..

The need for umbrellas turned into a drop of champagne…..

….The light, the bride, the bouquets, the Homily, the after-ceremony drinks overlooking the northern beaches with sun pushing us to run to the bay of Palm Beach some 30 km’s away to catch the last breaths of the golden light setting in the west…….a romantic walk around the bay of Pittwater, eating mouth watering food, then dancing till late at the wonderful Barrenjoey House at palm beach – it was what I call…One beautiful day.

Here lies the love story of Adam and his soul mate Heidi.  I have never seen two people so in love.

May their lives never be absent of the strong sense of family (and style) that was so apparent on their Wedding Day.

the golden hour

Photographers call the last hour or so before the sun disappears, “The Golden Hour”.

For natural light photographers, its about as good as it gets especially in summer, and I think you can see why.

These few pics from Jane and I are from a little trip we took on a ferry ride to the central coast and back, and then a nice walk up to Palm Beach lighthouse to catch the golden sun setting over the mountains.
