Jane and I are thankful for being able to share what was a rainy,but romantic day with Adam and Meredith and of course their lovely families.

It started with rain and ended with fireworks!

Its great not to have to be the one with ALL the pressure on you sometimes.

I’ll throw up some more of my faves I shot on the day soon.

It started out with dark, grey clouds, flooded roads and heavy rain.   The maid of honour was summoned onto umbrella duty.

We were all feeling very nervous, and perhaps a little disappointed that we might not be able to lap up all of the wonderful scenery that the vast beautiful northern beaches of Sydney have to offer…

But then slowly, and surely, out came…….  The Sun!   The need for umbrellas turned into a drop of champagne.

The light, the bride, the bouquets, the Homily, the after-ceremony drinks overlooking the northern beaches, a romantic walk around the bay of Pittwater, then dancing till late at the wonderful Barrenjoey House at palm beach – it was what I call…a beautiful day.

Here lies the love story of Adam and his soul mate Heidi.

May their lives never be absent of the strong sense of love and family that was so apparent on their Wedding Day.

Nina Simone – Here comes the Sun

For natural light photographers, its about as good as it gets especially in summer, and I think you can see why.

These few pics from Jane and I are from a little trip we took on a ferry ride to the central coast and back, and then a nice walk up to Palm Beach lighthouse to catch the golden sun setting over the mountains.

….and Sam is a good friend of mine, so having a couple really trust you as a professional and as an artist, on such a special day to them well that just makes you grow so much as a photographer.

I learn so much every wedding I do, and am so thankful I am doing something I love!

..oh and yeah, there were over 500 people at the reception!! *nods head*

Sam being of Vietnamese background has a BIG extended family and it is tradition that they all attend……at least the reception.

What a party!

Lana Del Ray – Video Games

Don’t get me wrong, that is what makes me tick, but its also nice now and then to take a step back, or up closer if you like, and capture something smaller, something not regularly part of many of our lives, even something that we could question its very creation…if we took the time to stop and……

…smell the Roses..

…oh by the way, my partner in crime Jane Hogan actually took two of these!..

At times, to test ones soul, at others educate it with culture, and definitely fill it with amazing music and food.

I truly am so blessed to be able to do what I love and be paid for it.

Jane Hogan (my partner in crime) and I really have had some great times through 2011, some long days and some very soul comforting closures on our weddings we shot together.

Moving on, 2012 means big things for me. A possible interstate move is on the cards, and I would LOVE to go full time with what is my true found forte . This realization has been near to me throughout the whole of last year so that is what I will be working hardest towards. I am so thankful and eager to see what lies ahead!

I am especially thankful to my clients for trusting me, and allowing me to be me, and all the other friends and family scattered throughout the year who have supported me and encouraged me.

Also thanks to the incredibly talented people I have had the the privilege of working with in 2011.

Little Red – Rock it

A mixture of Hong Kong, traditional Chinese and Australian fusion. Three ceremonies, and 4 locations, each with a change of clothes, all in one day over 16 hours.

There was a lot of kissing, a lot of tea and a LOT of food.

The whole family on both sides made Jane and I feel so welcome, including keeping us full of food the whole day.

It was such a pleasure to photograph such an amazing day.

Nick Drake – Cello Song

Yes, Adam and Heidi were married…….but you will have to wait to see the rest.

Well their wedding has now topped it.

These two are such lovely people, completely made for each other, and to have the pleasure of capturing their day when there is just so much love absolutely everywhere, from their families, close friends and most of all between each other……oh and the stunning Sydney spring weather that shone upon us from above….that’s what photography is all about to me.

It was particularly awesome to see Belinda soaking up the sunshine after hoping all morning for the sun to come out for a few moments…just a few..!

One of my favorite shots that just summed up the day was in the ceremony, just after The Kiss, when a sun-flare halo appeared right  above the Bride and Groom.

Yes guys, your day was blessed. And yes, I love my job!

Bali is just a few hours away and very cheap and full of fun if you care to look, so what better place to go when its winter in Aus. Its great to relax on the beach and have a few cocktails, but there is also a lot of character in the many back streets if you are prepared to make an effort and venture out of the norm.

OK so bear with me and take it slowly thru this quite unique Tilt-Shift world. The lens really is a beautiful piece of work!!. Very few of these images have had much post process work done on them, so what you see is basically just an amazing camera thru an amazing lens thru my eye on a weekend in Melbourne.

for this press it was one 12 inch square with two matching 8 inch parent albums.

these are 18 lay flat spreads with full bleed prints and photo wrap covers, but we can go up to 45 spreads!

the quality of these complete hand made albums is just gorgeous and they will last a lifetime

well i  must say i cannot be happier as an artist seeing prints come out like these do and from sending my layouts i had them at my door within 10 days

and in my opinion, a must have to showcase your collection
